Fairy Cops - Annika relax

I was hoping I could finish this before I started coloring another issue of Huntik!

A new installement in the series of illustrations "Fairy Cops at home". This is dedicated to Annika, the "brain" of the group. She has a genius-level intellect along with a magnificent body; however her attitude's cold, and because of some mysterious accident occurred to her in the past she can barely feel any pleasure or pain, so she seeks extreme experiences to awaken her lost libido. Over time this lack of physical feeling has grown to become also lack of emotional state. Some say, in fact, that machines are warmer and friendlier than her. In this picture I wanted to represent her sexual attitude also throught her environment: modern, clean and aseptic, almost characterizing Annika as an artificial beauty who communicates perfection and desire but little human comfort.

Annika is a sad character imho: ever seeking emotion, but never really being able to get close to people, not even in sex.

When I invented this character I took inspiration from Star Trek's Seven of Nine (the Borg girl in Voyager). Some of you may know in fact that Seven of Nine's real name is Annika Hansen.
